When trying to produce more than 1,000pcs of tofu per hour, we recommend our batch-type cooker "Soy-Boy". We will find out the best production line, depending on the amount of soymilk you want to produce with Soy-Boy. Size of cooking batches are selectable from single, double, and triple depending on your production volume.

【Soy-Boy Production Example】

How many pieces of cut tofu can be produced?

Given that the soymilk production amount of a single batch type Soy-Boy is 375L/h,

  • In 1 hour production, 900-1,100pcs of silken tofu cut piece (300g)
  • In 1 day production (6 hours), 5,400-6,600pcs of silken tofu cut piece (300g)
    (Preparation, washing, and cleaning times are excluded.)

Amount of dry soybeans

Given that the single batch type Soy-Boy is fully operated for 20 hours :

  • With defoamer added Max. 75kg/h of dry soybeans *20h = 1,500kg/day
  • Without defoamer Max. 60kg/h*20h = 1,200kg/day

The double batch type is recommended if processing amount of dry soybeans exceeds 120kg/h.

Note: Reference values shown on the right will vary depending on the type of tofu, volume, and other conditions.

Dry soybeans : Soymilk ratio

Given that processing 75kg of soybeans per hour and producing soymilk with brix of 12 - 12.5% (Suitable brix for making tofu),

  • 1kg of soybeans can produce 5L of soymilk.

Why is Soy-Boy suitable for High-mix, Small lot production ?

Many of the mid-size manufacturers produce a variety of products in a small lot.
The bach-type cooker, Soy-Boy is suitable for switching the type of soybeans or brix of soymilk etc.
Especially, in Japan, there are many kinds of tofu products, so tofu manufacturers need High-mix, Small lot production systems.
