Corporate History

Aug 1945
First president Junpei Mase opens Mase steel metal factory in Nagoya, Aichi and starts manufacturing forming boxes for fried tofu from Duralumin, which is used for airplanes, and also tofu cases and small water tanks for tofu retailers.
Aug 1964
Opens a new factory in another part of Nagoya.
Sep 1976
Starts selling tofu manufacturing machines.
Jul 1979
Releases continuous soymilk cooker “Super Steam Line“.
Sep 1979
Establishes Mase Steel Metal Factory Co., Ltd. Kohei Mase becomes the president.
1981
Starts construction of a complete production line.
Mar 1984
Releases automatic curding machine “Mighty-Yoru III“ (for 100% Nigari (bittern) silken/hard/fried tofu).
Apr 1985
Opens a new factory in Nisshin, Aichi.
Jan 1986
Releases automatic tofu cutter “Cut Ace“.
