In February 2026, we installed our automatic tofu cutting machine, “Cut-Ace,” at Aloha Tofu Factory Inc.
Previously, staff members manually cut the tofu, cooled the tofu in water tanks, and then placed the tofu into packs by hand. Even when using special knives, the cuts could become uneven, resulting in slight variations in the size of each tofu block.
With MASE’s Cut-Ace, operators simply place the large tofu block taken from the forming box into the machine, and it automatically cuts the tofu and gently releases the cut pieces into water.
Cutting the large tofu blocks removed from the forming boxes had been a tough work, but Cut-Ace has significantly reduced the workload for the staff.
